How to configure your OVH domain
This guide will show you how to set up A records in OVH and point them to Landingi.
To publish your landing page to your domain or subdomain, you need to add it to your account, redirect it via the DNS records and assign it to your landing page. A free Let's Encrypt SSL certificate will be automatically installed for your domain/subdomain when you add it to your account.
1. Log in to your OVH control panel, find your domain on the list, and click on it.
2. Go to the DNS zone.
Step 1. Access the DNS zone
Step 2. Point the DNS records
3. Now select what type of a subdomain you are adding:
4. Remove the two default TXT records for the www subdomain with the values "3|welcome" and "1|www.domain.com". Check both pages of the record list.
5. Add two A records: one for your root domain and one for the www subdomain. If you already have these records, edit (Modify) their values.
Record A #1
Sub-domain: leave empty
Target: 157.53.227.1
Record A #2
Sub-domain: www
Target: 157.53.227.1
7. Click Next and Confirm.
You can now close this section and go to step 3.
6. Copy and paste the following values:
4. Add an A record for the subdomain you want to add to Landingi. If you already have such a record, edit (Modify) it.
5. Edit the Name field: type in your new subdomain name, e.g., portfolio for portfolio.yourdomain.com. Copy the target value. Paste the values to your A record.
Record A
Sub-domain: your subdomain
Target: 157.53.227.1
6. Click Save, and then Continue.
You can now close this section and go to step 3.
When you're ready, go back to Landingi and click on Confirm/Finish.
Once you've added the subdomain to your account, our system will verify whether the DNS redirections have been done correctly. During this time, an hourglass icon will be visible next to the domain with the information that the domain is being verified. Usually, the domain will be active a few hours after adding it, but the total waiting time depends on the number of domains in our system waiting in the queue to install the certificate. We will email you when the domain is installed correctly.
A green globe icon indicates an active domain. You can assign it to your landing page.
In some cases, you have to wait between 1 and 24 hours for the records to propagate.
Step 3. Finish the configuration in Landingi
