'Success in digital marketing'
Lesson 4:
Get your landing page working for you
The previous lesson focused on capturing details of your landing page visitors, and today, you’re going to learn about setting up a campaign to get your landing page working for you.
Once your landing page is published and ready to welcome visitors, all you need now is to actually get those visitors, generate those leads. In other words: you need to generate traffic to your landing page.
How can you do that?
You need a promotional campaign for your landing page.
There are many ways to promote a landing page online, and it is your decision what to go with.
If you’re just starting off you would probably be looking at PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising:
The above advertising channels allow you to target your audience (personas for your landing pages) by demographic, geographic location, interests, behavior, product preferences, etc...
If you already have a built mailing list, you can use it to promote your landing page among your existing mailing list members.
If you’re a blogger, why not write a blog post containing the link to your landing page?
You can also just engage with peers on social media and share the link.
The limit here is your own imagination
Can you see this process clearly now? Your promotion campaign leads visitors to your landing page and your landing page converts those visitors to your clients.
In the next lesson, you will learn how to measure your results.
