What's the case?
As of the end of September 2021, the rules regarding recurring payments in India have changed.
The Reserve Bank of India has implemented a new directive.
It came into effect on 01.10.2021 and now requires banks, financial institutions, and payment gateways to obtain additional approval for auto-renewable transactions.
The authorization can be conducted by notifications, e-mandates, and Additional Factors of Authentication (AFA). Until your bank implements such a system, the transaction will not go through. Thus, it will not be processed. The directive impacts all such transactions for debit cards as well as credit cards.
How does it impact accounts in Landingi?
The above mentioned regulations impact mainly subscription-based software like Landingi. Thus, you may experience issues with your subscription payment.

The annual payment limits the number of recurring transactions (smaller probability of unnecessary hassle for you) and at the same time allows you to save 20% on the cost of Landingi service.
As an alternative to the subscription, we can provide you with a payment link to a one-time transaction that allows you to pay for your monthly subscription. In this case, you would have to process your payment manually every month.
