How to configure your AWS/ROUTE 53 domain
This guide will show you how to set up A records in AWS/ROUTE 53 and point them to Landingi.
To publish your landing page to your domain or subdomain, you need to add it to your account, redirect it via the DNS records and assign it to your landing page. A free Let's Encrypt SSL certificate will be automatically installed for your domain/subdomain when you add it to your account.
1. Log in to your AWS Management Console.
2. Go to the Route 53 (3) console – click on Services (1) > Networking & Content Delivery (2), or use the search bar at the top.
Step 1. Access the DNS zone
3. Click on Hosted Zone under DNS Management section and locate your domain name.
Step 2. Point the DNS records
4. Now select what type of a subdomain you are adding:
5. Add two A records: one for your root domain and one for the www subdomain. If you already have these records, edit their values.
6. Copy and paste the following values:
Record A #1
Record name: leave empty
Value: 157.53.227.1
Record A #2
Record name: www
Value: 157.53.227.1
7. Save changes.
You can now close this section and go to step 3.
5. Create a new or edit an existing A record for the subdomain you want to add to your account.
6. Edit the Name field: type in your new subdomain name, e.g., portfolio for portfolio.yourdomain.com. Copy IPv4 address. Paste the values to your A record.
Record A
Name: yoursubdomain
Value: 157.53.227.1
7. Save changes.
You can now close this section and go to step 3.
When you're ready, go back to Landingi and click on Confirm/Finish.
Once you've added the subdomain to your account, our system will verify whether the DNS redirections have been done correctly. During this time, an hourglass icon will be visible next to the domain with the information that the domain is being verified. Usually, the domain will be active a few hours after adding it, but the total waiting time depends on the number of domains in our system waiting in the queue to install the certificate. We will email you when the domain is installed correctly.
A green globe icon indicates an active domain. You can assign it to your landing page.
In some cases, you have to wait between 1 and 24 hours for the records to propagate.
Step 3. Finish the configuration in Landingi
